Saturday, May 29, 2010, the feast of the game, Chess Festival has partnered with the 3rd edition Interschool Chess Tournament of Comets.

The tournament annually brings together players from schools 17th district of Paris, and opened a room Scrabble and other mind games. This edition was won by Athirayan Sandirasegaram Fermon and Camille in categories and youngest pupils. Other categories were won by Mathilde Froger, Victor Simon, Jean Baptiste Humbert, Madeleine Evraert.

Thanks to the Feast of the game for its support, the Comets to host the Batignolles and Paris Junior Chess for framing. Congratulations to the young for their sportsmanship, and go for the 4th édition !

Youth Chess 2000 11th International Exhibition of games!

Thursday 27 and Friday, May 28, 2010 Festival of Chess made a stop at 11 th salon culture and mathematical games, Place St. Sulpice.

In two days, over 2000 young people from Paris suburbs and visited the booth of the FTC and have been introduced to chess by facilitators Paris Junior Chess Club: 9:00 Animation day loop out of 20 boards and three wall ... A marathon chess chess worthy labors of Hercules!

A big thank you to the team from Paris Junior Chess for the quality of the animation (and endurance!). Thank you to Jean Uzan of the FTC, Marie-Jo Pestel ICMG. Hat young Tremblay-en-France, in snub to the news we brought their enthusiasm and their smiles.
